CV.STATEMENT
Nikita Chernoritsky
(NIK CHERNORITSKY)
Artist, director, curator.
Nikita was born on April 1, 1999 in Moscow.
He represents an artistic dynasty of Chernoritsky / Sokolov (KUKRYNIKSY)
Nikita is а founder of the projects "Skitaltsy” and "Skitaltsy production".
In 2017, he graduated from the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum with the gold medal, awarded by the Russian Academy of Arts. Between 2019 and 2023 Nikita studied in Aidan Salakhova’s studio at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I.Surikov.
He created a series of personal projects and exhibitions in Russia and other countries, including the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (ММОМА), Multimedia art museum, Moscow (МAMM), PK museum, White Room Foundation and many others.
Starting from 2016, Nikita participated in numerous group exhibitions and created several short films, video art pieces and music videos. Since 2020 he is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists and the Creative Union of Artists of Russia.
Nikita’s works are held in museums and private collections in Russia, France, and Lithuania.

STATEMENT
Investigation of human borderline states.
Concentration on human feeling and state by means of the rejection of deterministic space.
The research objects are expressed in frequently repeated characters, objects that begin to communicate with each other, independently build their own universe.
The use of various media for self-expression independent of the material and method of research.
